Employment Placement Business Disclosure

This page discloses information about our licensed fee-charging employment placement business — the scope of occupations, fees, refund policy, and operating rules — in accordance with Japan's Employment Security Act and its Enforcement Regulations.

2. Scope of Occupations and Areas

Our scope covers all occupations except port transport work and construction work as defined by the Employment Security Act. The area covered is within Japan.

We do not handle job openings conditioned on prospective school graduates from employers whose openings a public employment security office may decline under Article 11 of the Youth Employment Promotion Act.

3. Fees (Fee Schedule)

Success-based fee

Up to 35% of the wages scheduled to be paid to the candidate during the first year of employment (as stated in the offer letter or working-conditions notice).

The fee is borne by the employer.

Fees from job seekers We do not charge any fees to job seekers (¥0).

* The fees above do not include consumption tax, which is added separately.
* Fees are set under the notification-based fee system.

4. Refund Policy

If a candidate placed through our service leaves employment early, we refund part of the fee to the employer, as follows.

The refund policy does not apply in any of the following cases:

  • Separation attributable to the employer
  • Separation due to the candidate's death, injury or illness, or other unavoidable reasons not attributable to the candidate
  • The employer re-hires the same candidate

5. Rules on Business Operations

Article 1 — Job Orders

  1. Within our scope of occupations, we accept any job order. However, we do not accept orders whose content violates laws or regulations, whose wages, working hours or other conditions are markedly inappropriate compared with normal working conditions, that involve certain labor-law violations (Labor Standards Act, Employment Security Act, etc.), or that come from organized crime members.
  2. Job orders should be submitted by the employer or their agent in person using the prescribed form. If an in-person visit is not possible, mail, telephone, fax or e-mail is acceptable.
  3. When placing a job order, please specify in advance the job content, wages, working hours and other employment conditions in writing, by fax or by e-mail.

Article 2 — Job Applications

  1. Within our scope of occupations, we accept any job application. However, we do not accept applications whose content violates laws or regulations.
  2. Job applications should be submitted by the applicant in person using the prescribed form.
  3. We do not charge any fees to job seekers.

Article 3 — Placement

  1. For job seekers, in keeping with the freedom of occupational choice set out in Article 2 of the Employment Security Act, we do our utmost to help them promptly find work suited to their wishes and abilities.
  2. For employers, we do our utmost to introduce candidates who match their requirements.
  3. At the time of placement, we specify to the job seeker the job content, wages, working hours and other working conditions in advance in writing, or by fax or e-mail where requested.
  4. Once we have accepted a job order or application, we take responsibility for the placement effort.
  5. To maintain neutrality in labor disputes, we do not make placements to an employer while a strike or lockout is in progress.
  6. Upon a successful hire, we charge the employer a placement fee based on the fee schedule.

Article 4 — Other

  1. Working with employment security institutions and other placement businesses, we respond promptly and appropriately to any complaint from job seekers regarding this business.
  2. Please report the results of our placements to us, from both the employer and the job seeker. Also, please report from the employer whether a job seeker who concluded an indefinite-term employment contract through our placement separated within six months of joining (excluding dismissal).
  3. We handle personal information obtained from job seekers or employers appropriately, in accordance with our Personal Information Proper Management Rules.
  4. When providing information about job openings through advertising or otherwise, we do not make false or misleading representations, and we take measures to keep such information accurate and up to date.
  5. We do not discriminate against job seekers or employers in the acceptance of applications, interviews, guidance, placement, or other services on grounds of race, nationality, creed, sex, social status, family origin, previous occupation, or membership in a labor union.
  6. Our scope of occupations is all occupations (excluding port transport and construction work), and the area covered is within Japan.
  7. The above sets out our rules on business operations. All of our operations are conducted in accordance with the Employment Security Act, related laws and regulations, and administrative notices. Please ask our staff if you have any questions.

We respond in good faith to complaints from job seekers or employers. The person responsible for handling complaints is the Placement Manager (Kevin Wu).

We handle personal information obtained from job seekers or employers appropriately, in accordance with our Personal Information Proper Management Rules. The person responsible for managing personal information is the Placement Manager (Kevin Wu).
